BouwHub continues to grow!
Published on March 8, 2023It's the BouwHub's birthday in Eindhoven! Exactly one year ago, the hub was opened by VolkerWessels and the Municipality of Eindhoven. The target? Fewer trips into the city, fuller trucks and less CO2 emissions.
The BouwHub is already being used for the projects:
- Donna on Bouwveld P
- Strijp-S from construction company Wessels Zeist
- The Bankier in Tilburg by Huybregts Relou in collaboration with Raab Karcher
- In addition, Stam en de Koning will use the BouwHub for the Niko tower on Strijp-S, a residential tower of no less than 109 meters high!
The BouwHub in Eindhoven is in full swing. Of course Brainport Bereikbaar participates. Together with SmartwayZ.NL, we have started a living lab with local builders and the BouwHub. We also ask construction companies to share data about their journeys. "With this data, the municipality and construction companies can use smart actions to get construction traffic into the city more efficiently and sustainably," says our colleague Chris Bannink, Smart Logistics project leader.
